I am a UX Designer based in Austin, Texas. I am passionate about designing human centered, accessible products.

I learned the importance of being present and listening to people in order to be able to tell their stories through images early in my career as a newspaper photographer.
I have worked in live TV and event production as a camera operator for Austin PBS and SXSW for over twenty years. During the onset of the COVID19 Pandemic, when live events stopped, I began to look for other ways to apply my skills, background and to earn a living. That is when I fell in love with UX Design and took the time to dedicate six months to an intensive program to really learn UX Design - the process and the tools. I was fortunate to gain experience working with UX clients during the course.
I have a drive to create spaces and I was the Experience Designer - collaborating with local artists to build out Dive Bar & Lounge in downtown Austin to open one of the first approachable cocktail lounges in central Texas.

For fun, I am part of an arts collective in Bolm Studios in East Austin where I create art playing with acrylic, spray paint and ink on mixed materials. I enjoy spending time in the darkroom at the studio and appreciate the analog process of print making.
